I’m a graphic designer who has always loved pattern, colour and more than anything the process of making!
While studying bookbinding and box making techniques I took a marbling workshop and was introduced to the mercurial process of marbling. After that first exposure to marbling I became fascinated with this ancient art form and have continued my studies with established paper marbling artists Shelagh Smith, Lucie Lapierre and Iris Nevins.
In 2010 I relocated to south western Ontario and set up my studio in a stone house built in 1891. Each marbling session is an ongoing learning experience and the combination of colours and patterns is limitless. These beautiful papers continually inspire me to use them to create unique stationery items and decorative objects.
